What is CBD?

Cannabidiol (CBD) oil is a natural, highly concentrated oil that primarily comes from cannabis sativa plants or hemp plants. The hemp plant produces an oil that contains a combination of compounds like CBD, CBG,CBCV,CBA, THC (in very low amounts)as well as amino acids, omega-3, vitamins and terpenes. This unique combination of compounds is what makes CBD oil unique.

How Can CBD benefit you?

CBD has been shown to help with a wide variety of illness due to the way CBD reacts with the human body.  About 20 years ago the Endocannabinoid  system was discovered by a team of medical scientist, Raphael Mechoulam ,William Devane and Dr. Lumir Hanus. They also discovered the first cannabinoid that is produced naturally in our body,  Anandamide .

The Endocannanbinoid System has two receptors,  CB1 and CB2, these receptors are where CBD works its magic. These receptors are located throughout the human body and mind.  CB1 receptors are mostly located in the brain and CB2 receptors are mostly located in the body.

Endocannabindoid system is the system responsible for homeostasis (normal) in the body, as well as appetite, pain, mood, and memory.  The Endocannabindoid system also plays other very important roles in the immune system, nervous system and all the bodies organs. It has been said that the Endocannabindoid system is literally the bridge between body and mind.
